Angels

I saw an angel in a wheelchair today.
He was probably drunk
Stunting and stumbling his words
Clothing from ages ago

I heard an angel cursing today
He was probably hurt
Screaming and scolding his friends
Worries from every place

I smelt an angel passing today
Parading perfectly in her tight shoes
Probably perfumed for performance
Her eyes big with curiosity and carefulness

I felt an angel dying today
I tasted the last bit of his hope
He was expecting to get away with it
His acting perfectly around the situation

Angels are all around, disguised as us
Weirdo’s in their loud ways, hidden
Silently moving, dancing, parading
Passing by unnoticed when they do it well

So take a moment and look
Ask a question
Notice
Because the angels can teach you something
That what you need most
Now
