Against my will
The situation started
Fear came knocking
Gnawing on my soul
Till I had no energy
Then the panic hit
Worrying what will when
And then it did
Catastrophe struck
everything exploded
Safety shattered
And shrapnel flying
Explosions echoing to
A booming silence
Then it was over
Then there was nothing
No, then there was me
I was still standing
